According to her, the September 11 attack led to an increase in the rate of Islamophobia. Treasury Secretary, Steven Mnuchin on Wednesday evening, released a letter stating that he needs more time to consider the request of the House Ways and Means Committee Chairman Richard Neal to handover the tax returns of president Donald Trump. Mnuchin made it clear that the demand did not sit well with the administration. The Treasury Department Secretary, in his letter, wrote about his concerns over “an abuse of authority” and stated that the law used by Neal to back his request is not for the purpose of castigating and embarrassing political figures of another party. Mnuchin said that the Department is requesting counsel from the Department of Justice to make sure
